AMBASSADOR WAYNE RECEIVED THE DISTINGUISHED COLBY COLLEGE CHORALE
March 23, 2009

Ambassador Wayne received on March 23 at his residence in the neighborhood of Palermo, the prestigious Colby College Chorale that offered a concert under the baton of Director Paul Machlin.

“It has been a pleasure to listen to the wonderful Colby College Chorale, one of the most prestigious in the United States and to share their fine music and huge musical talent with these young students." -- said Ambassador Wayne following the concert.

The Colby College from Waterville, Maine, is one of the United States' most prestigious liberal art colleges.  The Colby College Chorale is a mixed chorus of 65 men and women and it is the largest and oldest chorus of the institution. Membership in the Chorale is open to all students at Colby and it repertoire ranges over a broad spectrum of accompanied as well as a capella music from the 17th to the 21st centuries.

The Chorale traveled to the city of Tandil to offer a concert at the San Jose's College Chapel.
