Investment Climate Statement – Argentina

Introductory note:

• The Country Commercial Guide and embedded Investment Climate Statement (ICS) are longstanding annual reports prepared jointly by the U.S. Commerce and State Departments on all countries.  They are meant to inform U.S. exporters and investors.

• The ICS is a technical document that covers a range of themes relating to a country’s foreign investment regime. The ICS is updated once a year to reflect changes and developments in individual countries. 

• The ICS is an effort by the U.S. Government to assist U.S. companies by providing a balanced evaluation of Argentina’s investment climate.  It draws from a wide variety of sources, including analyses by government and non-governmental experts in the country being examined.
