Under Secretary Judith McHale and Ambassador Martinez with President Cristina F. de Kirchner

Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Judith McHale, U.S. Ambassador Vilma Martínez and members of U/Secretary’s delegation met yesterday with President Cristina F. de Kirchner at the Government’s House in the framework of the Under Secretary’s visit to Argentina and other countries of the region.

During the nice encounter, they extensively talked about a broad variety of issues of bilateral interest.

Prior to that, Under Secretary McHale and U.S. Ambassador Martínez, had met with Foreign Minister Héctor Timerman at the Foreign Ministry.

Under Secretary McHale manages the Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs matters at the Department of State, and she also takes care of the U.S. relations with the peoples all over the world.  She also monitors the activities carried out by the Office of Educational and Cultural Programs, the Office of International Information Programs, as well as the Public Affairs Office.
