AMBASSADOR WAYNE MAKES DONATION TO HOME FOR ABUSED WOMEN IN MORENO

On the eve of International Women’s Day, Ambassador Wayne yesterday made his second visit to “La Casita de Colores,” an NGO that helps women at risk and their children in the district of Moreno, where he donated two washing machines and a dryer.
In December, the Ambassador had donated children’s books and bookshelves to the home and had committed to continued support for the institution. “La Casita de Colores” is an NGO founded in 1998 and supported by the Moreno Archbishopric and the Sisters of Mercy. It grants assistance to 10-12 abused mothers and up to 30 of their children.
