Ambassador Wayne inaugurating a high-technology classroom in CAECOPAZ

Ambassador Wayne inaugurated a high-technology classroom donated by the United States for the training of Argentine members of UN peace-keeping forces during a visit March 29 to Argentina’s joint peace-keeping training center (CAECOPAZ) in Campo de Mayo. The Ambassador was accompanied by Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Stephen Johnson, who was in Buenos Aires to attend the annual bilateral working meeting between Argentina’s Ministry of Defense and the US Department of Defense. Both Amb. Wayne and DAS Johnson congratulated CAECOPAZ head Carlos Pisolito for the work of Argentina’s armed forces in contributing to peace-keeping missions in Haiti and Cyprus.
