MADE IN ARGENTINA AND THE USA: LOS FABULOSOS CADILLACS AND THE AMBASSADOR'S CADILLAC

During their October 24 visit to the US Embassy in Buenos Aires in preparation for their upcoming U.S. tour, famous Argentine rock band “Los Fabulosos Cadillacs” met with Ambassador Wayne, who congratulated them on recently receiving the MTV Legends Award. Group members Vicentico, Flavio Cianciarullo, Sergio Rotman, Daniel Lozano and Mario Siperman discussed their upcoming tour and new album, La Luz del Ritmo. They also posed with Ambassador Wayne for a photograph in front of another Cadillac--his.
“Your songs are anthems for a generation and inspiration for thousands of youth and rockers around the world,” said Ambassador Wayne.
Beginning in November, “Los Fabulosos Cadillacs” will perform more than fifty shows across Latin America, the United States, and Europe through the end of the year and early 2009. Ambassador Wayne noted that during their U.S. tour the group will perform in Detroit, Michigan, headquarters of Cadillac manufacturer General Motors, as well as in his home state of California. The Ambassador thanked them for their visit and wished them success in their upcoming concerts, including their performances at River Stadium in December.
