AMBASSADOR WAYNE VISITS U.S. EMBASSY BOOTH AT BOOK FAIR

Ambassador Wayne toured the Buenos Aires International Book Fair on its opening day, April 19, and visited the U.S. Embassy booth. While at the booth, the Ambassador met with students from School #33 in Lanus and gave each of them a cap and a variety of information materials. The Embassy is sponsoring a stand at the Book Fair for the first time in 15 years and is hosting several events, including a performance by the Alejandro Avilés Latin Jazz Quartet on April 26 at 8:30 p.m. and a lecture by famed mystery novelist Scott Turow at 4:30 p.m. on April 29. Both events are open to the public.
