AMBASSADOR WAYNE AT "LA BOMBONERA" SOCCER STADIUM

Ambassador Wayne attended a soccer match at Boca´s stadium accompanied by staff members of the Seattle Sounders, Major League Soccer (MLS) team. The MLS is the U.S. professional soccer league.
The Seattle Sounders are visiting Argentina as part of their preseason training for the MLS. The Ambassador attended “La Bombonera” stadium accompanied by team's owner and general manager Adrian Hanauer, head coach Sigi Schmid and assistant coach Chris Henderson.
The Ambassador was very impressed by the show on and off the field during the match Boca vs. Huracán.
“I was thrilled to be there when Martín Palermo scored his goal number 195 and became the all-time leading scorer in the history of Boca Juniors.” -- said the Ambassador.
Besides the Seattle Sounders, the New York Red Bulls are conducting preseason training sessions in Argentina.
“Sports is a great point of contact between our peoples. It is very important for my country where soccer is in full development that our soccer teams visit places like Argentina which have a long soccer tradition and are the world's best soccer countries " -- said Ambassador Wayne.
