Charge d’affaires Thomas Kelly Meets with Ambassador Ricardo Lagorio, Executive Director of the Bicentennial Committee

Charge d’affaires Tom Kelly met on July 13 with Ambassador Ricardo Lagorio, Executive Director of the Bicentennial Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Relations, Trade, and Religion.  Ambassador Lagorio described plans for the Bicentennial.   Charge Kelly expressed the U.S. Government’s interest in cooperating with the celebrations, noting “The Bicentennial of Argentina will provide an opportunity to celebrate our shared history of independence, democracy, and commitment to human rights.”
