November 26, 2008
On November 26, Ambassador Wayne attended the Annual Gala Dinner organized by CESSI, the Argentine Association of Software and IT Services to present the Sadosky Awards. This award recognizes the excellent work that ICT companies continue to produce in the Argentine market.
“The ICT Sector in Argentina has positioned itself as one of the most competitive in the region which can be attributed to the quality of its human resources and excellent telecommunications infrastructure making Argentina a priority market for investments in the industry” commented Ambassador Wayne.
This year, U.S. firms Intel received two awards for Technology Work and Technology Innovation, IBM for Company Promotion and Motorola for Professional Quality. The Ambassador congratulated the three companies for these prestigious awards. He stated “… this is another excellent example of U.S. investment and Argentine expertise that have complimented one another, helping make the Argentine ICT sector one of the strongest in the region, if not the world.”
