Invited by the Embassy of the United Sates and the Llao Llao Music Week, the Alexander string quartet performed on the second night of Argentina's prestigious music event.  Ambassador Wayne and Cultural Affairs Officer John Finn were present at the excelent concert offered by Zakarias Grafilo (violin), Frederick Lifsitz (violin), Paul Yarbrough (viola) and Sandy Wilson (cello).  

"...it is a privilige to count with the presence of the prestigious Alexander quartet in such a wonderful event as the Llao Llao Music Week."said Ambassador Wayne.

The Alexander string quartet formed in San Francisco, California in 1981, offered a master class for musicians in the Tunquelen Hotel in Bariloche. The group will also give a concert co-sponsored by the AmCham and a master class for musicians of Mother Theresa of Virreyes school in Buenos Aires.
