Ambassador Wayne Meets AFS Community Service Participants

Ambassador Wayne met Thursday, July 24, with a group of American Field Service Community Service participants from the US who just completed their exchange programs in Argentina. The group of 19 students worked as volunteers in different provinces throughout Argentina. One group volunteered at a retirement home in Rosario, another at school cafeterias in San Juan and a third at a school for deaf children in Resistencia. The participants told the Ambassador about their enriching experiences in Argentina and with their Argentine host families. Ambassador Wayne congratulated them and asked them to spread their knowledge about Argentina once they returned to the US.
