Thomas Kelly at Amcham 10k Race

A running team comprised of 19 US Embassy representatives enthusiastically participated in the first AMCHAM 10K race on september 13 with Chargé d’ Affaires Tom Kelly serving as the team leader.  The CLO, Star Frias, was a spirited team cheerleader on the sidelines and LES employee Silvana Pueyo coordinated all of the logistics for the team.

The culmination of this team effort was a combined average time of 46:48, resulting in a third place victory amongst the 21 corporate teams who participated. More than 900 runners took part in the race and AMCHAM was able to collect 3,000 kilos of food to be distributed through the Buenos Aires food bank, Banco de Alimentos.
